• Measuring the impact of Digital Media on LP decisions & outcomes 

• Exploring opportunities for engagement with Diaspora Communities 

• Identifying Implications, Methods, & Tools to address these & other aspects of our work

ILAC-8 also features a Pike Center Symposium on Evidence-based Research in Language Program Assessment. 

ILAC* is an international, interdisciplinary gathering with domain tracks designed for Language Programs, Scripture Engagement, Literacy & Education, Language Assessment, and Sociolinguistics. Leadership, partners, and other domains are also welcome! 

* ILAC (International Language Assessment Conference) is a conference series on research contributing to effective language programs around the world. ILAC has evolved over the years, innovating based on the needs and opportunities of each era.

• Registration fee: one $350 fee covers registration for ILAC and all related events. Early bird discount ($300) ends 15 May. For latecomers (after 15th of July 2024) the fee is $400. Registration deadline is 1st of August 2024.

ILAC-7, held in 2018, focused on the Implications of Multilingualism and drew 125+ participants from 30 countries and multiple domains. ILAC-7 produced two publications (papers from ILAC-7 proceedings and Pike Center Symposium), a summary by the MUSE taskforce and a video on Multilingualism.
