Meet Mrs. Beland
Originally from Massachusetts, I graduated from Flagler College in St. Augustine, Florida in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Coastal Environmental Science and History. After college, I returned to Massachusetts and worked as an elementary school special education aide for two years.
In 2019, I followed my heart back to Florida, where I taught Environmental Science and Marine Science at the high school level in St. Johns County for four years. I hold a Florida Professional Teaching Certificate in Middle Grades Science (5–9). This is now my third year teaching at Sigsbee, and I’m so happy to be part of this wonderful school community.
My husband is in the Coast Guard, and we feel incredibly lucky to live on such a beautiful island surrounded by a supportive and vibrant community.
