Hi, I am Mrs. Garcia, formally Miss. P. I am originally from Ohio, but when I was in middle school my family moved to Tallahassee, Fl. where I finished school. I then went to The University of Florida (Go Gators!) and received my Bachelor’s in Special Education. After graduating I made the move to Key West in 2018 and began my teaching career. I taught Kindergarten for four years, First Grade for one year, and now I am back to Kindergarten for year 6! During my time teaching, I went back to school for my Master’s in Early Childhood Education and then my Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership. 

In my free time, I enjoy being outside watching the sunrise or sunset! I like to go for walks, bike rides and visits to the beach.

I am so excited for this school year and to make so many new friends. I know we will have a lot of fun playing, learning, and growing together! See you soon Dolphins!
