Mr. Hackett's

Welcome! I'm Mr. Hackett. I was born and raised in Western Massachusetts which made up of small farm towns, beautiful landscapes and icy cold winters. I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Westfield State University in 2006. Shortly after I entered the tech world as an IT specialist, then shifted to education 8 years ago. On a whim, I moved to Key West 4.5 years ago and started working here at SCS. I am now entering my 5th year here at SCS and this will be my 4th year as the 7th grade math teacher. 

My favorite part of our 7th grade year is our field trip to Dry Tortugas where the snorkeling and views are epic.

I got my first guitar at a young age and I've always had a passion for playing and creating music. This year I will be putting together a middle school rock band and we are dreaming big. Keep and eye out for an SCS rock show near you!
