Dear Angels Community,
Happy Halloween. Our freshmen were on retreat today with Mrs. Dahlgren. We will have more information to come next week. SCHS continues to be a very busy place. Yesterday we welcomed over 30 students that shadowed to consider SCHS for their high school. It was an athletic themed day. The current SCHS students were phenomenal guests. Word of mouth is always our best advertisement.
Mark your calendar for Nov 14, 15 and 16 for our Fall Play. More information to come.

IMPORTANT ATHLETICS UPDATE:
Please note this change in attendance policy for athletes, effective Monday, November 3. Also attached is the handbook if you want further information.
Attendance:
All participants must be in attendance at the start of the 2nd period for the school day in order to participate in an after-school event, contest, competition, performance, or practice. If a student does not satisfy this attendance requirement, the student may not participate in any contest, competition, performance, and/or practice on the same day as the absence or tardy. Individual exceptions such as documented family emergencies, school field trips, college visits, or other absences that are pre-excused by the Athletic Director or Administration are accepted. Any exceptions or special circumstances will be decided by the Administration. Coaches may implement a more strict attendance policy for their specific sport.

New Registration Platform: ArbiterSports
New Registration Platform: ArbiterSports
St. Catherine's High School is now using ArbiterSports for all athletic registrations, as required by the WIAA. All student-athletes must be registered on this platform to be eligible for participation.

Please note that we are no longer using the rSchoolToday platform. If your student was previously registered on rSchool, they must still complete a new registration on ArbiterSports.
Physicals and Payment Details:
Updated Physicals: A current physical is mandatory for athletic participation. If your student's last physical was completed before April 1, 2024, they will need a new physical to be cleared.
Payment Information: Our online payment option is up and running.

Students already ordered their caps and gowns during a Senior Meeting. They had the link in schoology to the Josten's site for ordering. Cap and gown are free to all students.

Ofrenda
Ofrenda: All Students and Staff invited
As we prepare our school community Ofrenda, we invite students to honor loved ones by bringing a small photo (labeled on the back) or a name tent to place on the ofrenda in the main hall by door 2. Items should be school-appropriate and non-valuable; please reclaim them after the display ends. Thank you for helping us celebrate remembrance with respect and care.
What to bring: a small photo (no big frames or candles) or a name tent with the person's name.

Mientras preparamos nuestra Ofrenda comunitaria, invitamos a los estudiantes a honrar a sus seres queridos trayendo una foto pequeña (con nombre atrás) o una tarjeta con el nombre para colocar en la Ofrenda. Las fotos deben ser apropiadas para la escuela y sin valor; por favor recójelos cuando termine la exhibición. Gracias por ayudarnos a celebrar con respeto y cariño.
