Students receive 5 points daily in regular PE class. One point for doing all the exercises (jumping jacks, mountain climbers, squat thrusts, and alternate push-ups/sit-ups, One point for jogging laps (timed), and three points for participation in the daily activity. Students are required to have a PE shirt, shorts or sweats, and tennis shoes each day. Students are required to dress to participate, if not dressed students receive a zero for the day.

I have a Bachelor's degree in physical education from Quincy College, graduating in 1990. I received a Master's from Western Illinois University in 2002. I have been teaching physical education for 35 years and currently the Junior Class sponsor and assistant high school softball coach. My husband is Jason, we have been married for 32 years and he works for H & G Outdoors . My daughter, Ashley, is a civil engineer and works for The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Some of my favorite things are spending time with family, hunting, fishing, & camping. This will be my last year of teaching as I plan to retire at the end of this school year!
