English- About Ms. Alemán

I graduated from St. Johns University with a Masters in Special Education and General Education. I have a Bilingual Extension. I have been a part of South Huntington district for five years now:)

Some fun facts about me: 

• I grew up here on Long Island (near Adventure Land!)

• My family is from Colombia, so I really love coffee;)

• My favorite color is blue. 

• I love the fall and winter.

Me gradué de  la Universidad de St. John's con una maestría en educación especial y general. Tambien tengo una extensión bilingüe. Yo estado parte del distrito de South Huntington ya por 5 años:)

Unos datos sobre mi: 

• Yo creci aqui en Long Island (cerca de Adventure Land!)

• Mi familia es de Colombia, entonces me gusta mucho el cafe;)

I graduated from SUNY Old Westbury College as an Elementary School Teacher with the Bilingual Extension. I have taught many different grades, from Pre-K to 5th Grade as well as High School and Adult Education Programs. 

 I always wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. I enjoy helping others and volunteering.

I have two super brothers, I am the youngest.

I'm also a mom! I have a son named Sebastian and he is turning 2 this year.

 I am originally from El Salvador and came to the U.S. in 2010. 

I love coffee, working, sleeping, teaching and reading.

I can't wait to meet my students this year!

Me gradué del Colegio SUNY Old Westbury como maestra de Educación Elemental con extensión bilingüe.  He enseñado diferentes grados, desde Pre-kinder a 5to así también como escuela secundaria y programas de Educación para adultos. 

Siempre quise ser maestra desde que era una niña pequeña. Disfruto ayudando a otros y siendo voluntaria.

Tengo dos súper hermanos, yo soy la menor. 

También tengo un hijo llamado Sebastián. Que cumple 2 años este año.

Soy de El Salvador y vine a los Estados Unidos en el 2010.

Amo el café, trabajar, dormir, enseñar y leer.

¡Me muero por conocer a mis estudiantes este año!
