Purpose: To read nonfiction books, to create written reports and to turn them into digital book reports.

To learn about Google Slides, adding images, font size, background colors, and to share slides with others.

Process:

• Students chose three topics

• Get curated books from our librarians

• In pairs, students read and took notes from their three topics

• Students created written pieces for writing workshop class

• Students created written book reports for reading workshop class

• Use chromebooks to digitized their reports

• Students share reports with their parents
