South HS LitCon

LitCon is a day-long celebration of literacy and reading involving the whole high school. It features a keynote address presented by Matt de la Peña, the 2016 Newbery Medal winner. The rest of the day includes over 20 simultaneous sessions, led by some truly amazing guests.

This exciting day is modeled after professional & academic conferences and offers our students a chance to engage in sophisticated conversations and hands-on learning . Topics embrace a broad range of literacies and communication, including computer coding, illustration, music, screenwriting, and much more! The day ends with prizes and a wrap-up.
