Meet Mrs. Hansen

Welcome! I am Ruth Hansen and I will be teaching students in K-8 in both reading and math this year. My role is now an interventionist.  I look forward to the relationships that will be built and the growing that will take place in your student’s life this year.

Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I have been a teacher for 21 years.  I have taught in Chicago, the suburbs of Illinois, Northeast Minneapolis, Seven Hills Bloomington Campus, and now Richfield.  I am married and have two children.  Both of my children are in college – my son lives in Winona and my daughter goes to South Dakota State University. My daughter is a student and also plays soccer for the Jackrabbits.  I also have three wonderful dogs, named Emmie, Stella and Annabelle, they are all lab mixes. This is my eleventh year at Seven Hills and I love teaching here.  I am truly excited for this year.
