Are you interested in helping those in need? Have you outgrown some of your old winter gear? The Interchange Food Pantry would greatly appreciate your donation to this coat drive to help people in need.
The Interchange Food Pantry is a non-profit food pantry in Milwaukee that we volunteer at on some Saturdays and help pack food for people who can’t always afford it. Volunteers are always welcome. More help is needed and it is very fun to volunteer! It makes you feel happy that you are doing something good for the community. The holidays are especially busy and very chilly too, so this would be a great time to help out. Here is a link to their website: Interchange Food Pantry\
You can donate your old coats at Lakeside Natural Medicine (3510 N. Oakland Ave). There is a bin in their lobby where you can put your old coats, hats, gloves, and other warm winter gear. There is also a bin at Corner Bakery on Capitol Drive and other Corner Bakery locations. This drive started on November 6 and goes until December 14, so there’s still plenty of time to donate.
Thank you for reading our article! We hope you consider donating to help someone in need stay warm this winter. It always feels good helping someone out. Make sure to tell your parents about it too. Happy holidays!
