As part of our office series we decided to interview Mr. Dittl because for some reason he always seems to be there.
Us: You go to the office a LOT, why?
Mr. Dittl: I go to the office when my class has specials and I have to check my mailbox for important stuff. And if Ms. Binns or Ms. Scheferman needs to use the restroom or just take a break. I take a little shift for them.
Us: If you worked in the office what would you do?
Mr. Dittl would enjoy ordering supplies and stuff because he likes finding stuff. And he would also put up posters with his drawing skills just to make the office more welcoming.
Us: We know you taught at Atwater. What were similarities and differences?
Mr. Dittl taught first grade and a few teachers that used to work at Lake Bluff worked there so he saw people that he knew. Differences were it was nice to be close to City Market so he could go over to get lunch which was nice, and lockers in the hallways were nice because not so much stuff was piled up in the class.
How was your switch from the basement to the main level?
He liked it because in the basement he had a lot of room but he was far away from everything. When he transitioned he had to get used to a lot of noise from the outside, but it’s nicer because he is closer to everything.
Coming next: We interview Mr. Roberts about his last year at Lake Bluff.
