I think that the school should have more four square balls because every time I go out to recess I see kids playing a game of 4 square. 4 square is a game where you need at least 4 people to play the game and a ball, the squares need to be labeled A B C D. Then there will be a line where extra people wait for someone to get out. You get out by the ball bouncing in your square then out into the open. If you had people in line you would go to the end of the line, if not you would just move to D. There are many terms you can call, for example "birdy out of the cage." In A square there will be a little triangle that you must start the game in but if you call "birdy out of the cage" you don’t need to. I have never played without birdy out of the cage.
When you are called last to recess all the balls are gone. You can normally find the balls in the rolling bucket with all the other balls like soccer balls, basketballs, and more. Some classes do have 4 square balls but normally they don’t.
This is one of my experiences with that problem. So some 6th graders come up to us and say, “I want to trade balls” and we say, "No this is our ball" and we show them that it says our grade (5th grade) but they still insist that we trade balls. They want to so bad that they show us how bouncy their ball is but we still say no and after that they left us alone.
Some reasons why I play 4 square is because I think it is fun, but that is my opinion. Also 4 square could kinda be a never ending game because you go to the end of the line or you straight back to D and when you are in line you go straight back in when someone else is out or you wait a bit longer than if there was only you in line.
This is why I think that we should have more balls for 4 square.
