The Library is the cool place to be in the mornings before school starts. The doors open by 7:45 and students sign in to hang out and play the various games, check out books or read until the first bell rings. I love seeing all the sweet faces and watching the students work and play collaboratively with friends.

****Calling all students! Your challenge for November/December is to create a Gingerbread House out of cardboard. Be as creative as you would like and bring the finished product to the library no later than Friday, December 5th, to be entered into the contest. I want to see how many different, fantastic creations you can come up with! Make sure that your creation is no larger than 12” tall and 18” wide. Let’s make our library a winter wonderland! Judges will choose the top 3 creations, and yes… There will be prizes!!!
Thank you to all the veterans who willingly fought for our freedoms in years' past and those who continue to do so. We are blessed because of your many sacrifices!
