本会について

(English follows Japanese)

(Meetup platform for Engineering and Information Science)

・NFT(非代替性トークン)での権利保護準備中

About us

Society name:

Meetup Platform for Engineering and Information Science (MEIS)

Purpose of establishment:

In the past academic societies in Japan, there are too many groups divided into small pieces in the field, and there is a lack of a cross-cutting approach required by the smart society in the future, especially from the industry. In addition, those academic societies rely on the volunteers of young researchers and engineers, which hinders the cross-cutting approach of young researchers. Furthermore, the organizational structure is out-of-date and digital transformation has not been advanced.

As an interdisciplinary community, MEIS covers a wide range of all fields of engineering such as architecture / civil engineering, materials, applied physics, applied chemistry, machinery, electrical / electronics, and information and all fields of information science such as Mathematical / Intelligent / Bio / Human / Social informatics and promote mutual cooperation and fusion with smart cities as a representative application, while minimizing the operational load of the society up to the limit.

In order to connect research and technology to practical use, commercialization, dissemination, and education, we will carry out open activities that are easy for engineers, designers, business managers, and students to participate in, rather than being closed to researchers.

Organizational form:

For the time being, a voluntary organization with a view to being incorporated in a few years
