Assisting Struggling Readers in the Secondary Classroom

This session is for the secondary teacher who wants to help their students who are reading below grade level but does not know where to begin. We will discuss strategies that can be used with the whole class as well as strategies that can be used in a small group setting. We will also discuss how to assess the specific skills that are hindering students' reading and how to make reading more enjoyable for students.
