Tracie Davis is currently the Technology Program Area Specialist for Shelby County Schools. She has 26 years of experience in education, teaching Kindergarten, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, as a Reading Coach, and as a Technology Resource Teacher.

Tracie graduated from Samford University with an Early Childhood and Elementary Education degree. She holds a Master's in Elementary Education from the University of Alabama Birmingham.

Tracie is passionate about helping teachers grow in their knowledge of integrating technology into their teaching and their students’ learning. She enjoys collaborating with teachers about researched-based teaching strategies that integrate innovative technology.

Outside of the educational setting, Tracie is the Associate Children’s Minister at Double Oak Community Church, Mt. Laurel. She has a son that attends Auburn University and enjoys exercising, the beach, and spending time with her son and friends.
