Mrs. Dodson is starting her fourteenth year as a school librarian at Helena Middle School and has 26 years of experience as a teacher and librarian. She holds a Master's Degree in Library and Information Studies from The University of Alabama and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Auburn University. She has served as one of the school's technology coordinators since it opened in 2008.

Mrs. Dodson is married and has two daughters. 

She loves going to the beach and to Auburn football games. 

Her favorite genre to read is Mystery.
