HMS Band Performance Opportunities

Students in the Helena Middle School Band have a number of opportunities to perform both in a full band setting as well as an individual. All students will not perform at everything. The 7th and 8th grade students will perform more than the Beginning Band students for obvious reasons. Following are the performance opportunities possible for the students in the Helena Middle School Band:

• Pep Rallies

• Christmas Concert

• Pre-Assessment Concert

• Music Performance Assessment

• Solo & Ensemble Festival

• Spring Contest

• Various University Honor Bands

• District Honor Band

• All-County Honor Band

• All-State Band

• Assemblies at the Intermediate School

• Assemblies for the Middle School
