Policy Engagement
Policy Engagement
As a network focussed on regulatory science, engagement and involvement of policymakers is key to our success. We have a dedicated Policy Lead and work with the Departments for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), and Business and Trade (DBT) as well as other departments and devolved administrations to ensure our work connects directly with policy.
Marisa Zeolla is the LCA-RSIN Policy Lead. As Advanced Technology Project Lead at the National Composites Centre, Marisa is perfectly placed to lead the policy engagement aspect of the LCA-RSIN network. Two-way communication between LCA practitioners and users in industry and government regulators and policymakers is an essential part of the network.
Our Working Groups were developed in collaboration with the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ) and representatives of DESNZ, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and Department for Business and Trade (DBT) sit on our Working Groups and Advisory Board. We are continually looking to develop further engagement with regulators and policymakers in areas related to LCA and Regulatory Science. To discuss this engagement, please contact the network.
