Home to Engineering at Sheffield and completed in 2015, The Diamond Building is one of the University’s largest ever investments in learning and teaching. With 19 different specialist laboratories and workshops, housing state of the art equipment, The Diamond hosts over 6000 students each year.
The conference will be located on the Ground and Basement floors.

Parking
The University of Sheffield is easily accessible by different modes of transport. It has a tram stop, is a twenty-minute walk from Sheffield train station and is well served by the local bus network.

Sheffield Clean Air Zone
Sheffield city centre is covered by a clean air zone. Private cars are exempt from charges.
However, non-compliant vans, campervans and other light goods vehicles are included in the scheme.
If you want to check the status of a vehicle, you can do so on the City Council's website.
Accessibility
Located in the heart of the East Campus, The Diamond is easily accessible from city centre hotels, with bus and tram stops located close by if needed.
The building itself is fully equipped for any access requirements including lifts, disabled toilets and hearing loops. Decerna is a consultancy and developer focused on accelerating the global shift to a low-carbon economy, driven by clean and affordable energy. Established since 2012, the Life Cycle Assessment department performs ISO 14040/44-compliant assessments across diverse applications—from single-product Environmental Product Declarations to complex carbon capture due diligence —supporting research projects, commercial developments, and policy formation, whilst also more recently providing Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism support.
