My first month in Melbourne has been really eye opening. I remember getting off the plane after the 22 hour flight and thinking to myself 'what have I gotten myself in for....' but so far it has been really fun and exciting. So far I have taken a trip to see the sunset at St Kilda Pier, seen a possum (no kangaroos yet...) and taken a hike in the Dandenong ranges to name a few.
The University here at Monash is so much bigger than Sheffield and it's a campus university so everythings is relatively close. The modules I take here are also really interesting and my favourite one being Indigenous Cultures and Social Justice because I have already learnt so much about the history of Australia in such a short amount of time.
Overall, I'm really enjoying my time here and looking forward to what the rest of the year holds.
