The term 'correspondences', as we are using it, refers to any one of a number of constructions of generalized morphisms from one space to another, one group to another, and so on. The constructions are unified by the way in which they lead to bimodules between operator algebras, sometimes with additional structures. The aim of this meeting is to explore recent developments in the theory of correspondences, particularly interpreted in operator algebra theory and noncommutative geometry.
