Robert Rogers
I'm a 3rd year PhD student in the AGMP group at Sheffield under the supervision of Cristina Manolache.
I'm interested in enumerative geometry and its tools. I like moduli stacks, intersection theory and virtual fundamental classes. I am currently focussed on Gromov-Witten theory and recently I have been thinking about constructing reduced GW invariants and their relation to Gopakumar-Vafa invariants.
In November I will be visiting Etienne Mann in Angers, under my Visiting Research Fellowship (SSHN) "Derived Enumerative Geomerty and Refined Curve Counting Theories" supported by the French Embassy.
