At the Sheffield College we operate two pension schemes:
The Teachers Pension
South Yorkshire Pension Authority
Those employed on any of our subsidiaries (Sparks Managed Services, Sparks Teaching Services, Sparks Solutions Limited) will be with the pension scheme NEST
As a new starter you will be auto-enrolled onto a pension scheme with the option to opt out. You can opt out of the pension scheme at any time. This will be discussed with you in detail during your HR induction. If you have any questions regarding pensions schemes, please contact HR Enquries at HRENQUIRIES@sheffcol.ac.uk or visit the Payroll Team in T7.11
Teachers Pension

Teachers Pension host monthly member presentations that members can join via Microsoft Teams Live. All the information you need for member presentations can be found on the website.
Additionally they have various playlists in YouTube which cover topics such as Transitional Protection, Deferred members, new to the Scheme and retired members to name a few. All playlists can be found on the YouTube channel
Also, a dedicated web section for members which provides guides, factsheets, forms, FAQs, news updates and much more
