Teachers have been asked to push out the May 3rd assignments by Friday, April 29.
Teachers cannot hold virtual office hours and will not be available to respond to email on May 3rd from 8:00-10:00 AM. K-12 special education teachers may need to adjust their afternoon virtual office hours to accommodate meeting with their instructional assistants.
All staff (administrators, counselors, teachers, PK instructors, and instructional assistants) will meet together to participate in a building-level discussion/training session. Building administrators will inform staff where this session will take place.

PK Instructors may also assign tasks for their instructional assistants to complete after this time of discussion is completed.
Sp Ed PK Teachers - Meet with instructional assistants to review IEPs (e.g. go over updates, provide clarification of services/interventions, etc.).
Sp Ed PK Teachers - Feel free to interrupt/break-up this time if you need to hold e-learning day virtual office hours.
Sp Ed PK Teachers - Feel free to assign tasks for their instructional assistants to complete after this time of discussion is completed.
You will meet in a location to be determined by your building administrator. You will participate in a training on disability awareness. This training will be in the form of a video (linked below). While the training is in video format, staff will be asked to periodically pause the video to engage in discussion.

Specific start time will vary depending on lunch schedule and completion of the Science of Reading training.

After this time is complete, teachers should resume e-learning day responsibilities.
