There are several things that you can work through during this time:
- Complete the AIR Accessibility and Accommodations Training
- This training must be completed by anyone administering an assessment to students who have testing accommodations. As some students with testing accommodations may take their tests in the general education classroom, it is recommended that all general education teachers complete this training.
- Review Content Literacy Standards and Resources
- While Indiana only has Content Literacy Standards for social studies and science students in grades 6-12, all students need to be able to read and write across all content areas. All teachers are encouraged to check out the standards and resources to improve their instructional practice.
- Explore the SHeLF (South Harrison eLearning Files)
- Take some time to see what is available to learn and to use in your classroom.
Teachers participating in this session are encouraged to congregate in the CCR room or the Counselor Commons.
