Tools for connecting with students
Educreations: is an interactive whiteboard and screencasting app. You can narrate, write, and animate as your voice is recorded explaining the subject matter. Worksheets can even be uploaded and written on using a stylus. If needed, we can provide iPads with this app pre-loaded. To help educators during COVID-19, teachers can request an account upgrade to be able to use Pro features. Tutorial here.
Screencastify: Easily record, edit, and share videos. Free chrome extension that lives in your browser. You can record the computer screen and voice allowing a video popup in the corner for face-to-face recording. It is easy to switch from webcam to screen recording. The software tool allows you to create a video capture of whatever you are working on, on the computer at that time. The user can create videos that walk students & parents through different online applications. It is a great tool to use when recording digital white board lessons and creating “how to access” online apps and resources.
