Calling SHARE children aged 0-12! Join Miss Wendy and her friends as we learn about Weather. We will have three days of activities which will promote group skills in addition to academic knowledge. Music and physical activities will round out a fun-filled week!

Developmental and Academic Assessment Program

If you desire a developmental or academic assessment for your child, we will send you a questionnaire to provide our staff with essential information for understanding your child’s needs. We then will recommend assessments/testing appropriate for addressing these concerns.  Individual assessments and testing slots are limited and are on a first come first serve basis.  Please contact testing@shareeducation.org with any questions about the tests.

Group Achievement Testing (Iowa Assessments) is scheduled to begin at 9:00 on 17, March. Additional tests may also start on Sunday afternoon. If you are required to attend testing on Sunday afternoon, you will receive a notification.

Early Reading Assessment
(Grades K-2)

Sponsoring Agency: $45; Non-sponsoring agency: $65; Others $100

This test provides information on the development of the concepts and skills your child needs to become a successful reader.  Phonemic and phonological awareness, phonics, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension are all part of the Reading Assessment.

Group Achievement Testing
(Grades 3-12)

Sponsoring Agency: $45; Non-sponsoring agency: $65; Others: $100

SHARE offers group achievement testing for students ages 8-18 (grades 3-12) to assess whether the student is “on track” with his or her age mates. This test offers assessments in the areas of reading, writing, and mathematics. Group Achievement Testing is done in two sessions, Sunday afternoon and Tuesday afternoon. Students must attend both sessions to complete the test.

Group Achievement Testing (Iowa Assessments) will begin at 9:00 on Monday, 17 March.

Note:  SHARE recommends testing every other year, but this test is appropriate for families requiring or desiring annual testing.

Fine Motor – How a child uses small muscles to coordinate use of hands and fingers, like cutting with a scissors or using a pencil.

Career Direct
(Ages 16 and young adults)

Sponsoring Agencies: $100; Non-Sponsoring Agencies: $150; Others: $200

Career Direct is for anyone 16 years old and older. Unlike other career guidance assessments that explore one or two facets of a person’s identity, Career Direct examines four essential components of career selection: personality, interests, skills, and values. As a result, Career Direct is one of the most comprehensive guidance systems on the market today. With more than 20 years of development, Career Direct has undergone rigorous testing and validation. The Career Direct assessment and subsequent 36-page report are available in 22 different languages. Currently, all follow-up consultations are done in English.

This comprehensive assessment is completed online in approximately one hour and submitted to Career Direct. One of our SHARE certified consultants will receive the results and set up a consultation time to meet in-person or virtually with the teen and parents to review the

Career Direct report. Our consultant will spend extensive time going through the report, which also includes examining possible career opportunities and initiating an action plan for pursuing those opportunities.

The Career Direct Assessment is administered prior to the conference and consultations may occur at the conference or on-line.

Career Direct Consultations may be scheduled for 17 March if arranged before the conference.

Please write to careerdirect@shareeducation.org to receive more information.

Looking Forward to seeing you all in Bishkek!
