The Avalanches
In a follow-up to their hit album Wild Flower, The Avalanches will be returning this December with their upcoming 3rd studio album, We Will Always Love You.
According to the Melbourne duo of Tony Di Blasi and Robbie Chater, We Will Always Love You will be “an exploration of the vibrational relationship between light, sound and spirit.” The album promises to be an interstellar affair, with the cover art of the album featuring creative director Ann Druyan of the NASA Voyager Golden Record Project, whose “cosmic love story inspired the music.” The cover art of the album was created by placing a photo of Druyan under a spectrograph, in order to keep in alignment with the album’s theme of everlasting love.
“The image remains hidden, deep within the grooves of the music, for you to discover if you wish,” said the up-and-coming group about the cover art in an interview with Billboard.
