Get relaxed this summer with these fun and delicious summer snacks!

Schools out! Now you’re free for three months of summer vacation! Hot summer days, relaxing on the beach and having fun. But food can make this experience even better! Here are some sweet, tangy, and satisfying summer snacks that you can make at home!

The first snack you can make is sorbet. There are so many different flavor combos and recipes that you can use for this. There is watermelon, peach, strawberry, you name it! What you need to do to create this snack is gather frozen fruit and a blender. What you need to do is add the frozen fruit into the blender and blend it until it has a thick, ice-cream like consistency. Then, add this mixture into an airtight container and freeze for an hour. When you take it out, you will have an icy sorbet.

The next summer snack is fruity strawberry banana smoothies! First, you have to gather some fresh strawberries, bananas, and any flavored yogurt. Blend all of these ingredients together in a blender to create a strawberry banana smoothie. Then pour this mixture into popsicle molds, and insert popsicle sticks into the center of each mold. Then, freeze this four at least four hours, and your popsicles are complete!


Another delicious treat to snack on are frozen grapes. Many have said that this recipe actually tastes like Sour Patch Kids gummies. For this snack, what you need are preferably green grapes, cane sugar, and lemon/lime juice. Starting off, place a handful of green grapes into an airtight container, and freeze for 1-2 hours. While the grapes are freezing, create a mixture of sugar and lemon juice that suits the amount of sour you prefer. Then, roll the frozen grapes into the sugary mixture until all the grapes are coated.

The last snack, which was pretty popular on tiktok, is called nature’s cereal. This trending snack was tested out by so many creators, including singer Lizzo. The ingredients for this healthy recipe is pomegranate, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, coconut water and ice. Essentially you just gather all these ingredients, add the fruit into the bowl, and then pour the coconut water and ice cubes on top. Stir it all together, and you're done! There are also variations of this where you can use oat milk as your liquid, or your preferred fruits.
