Haven't gotten into the Christmas spirit? These DIYs are sure to lift your spirits
As I wake up, jingle bells ring in my ear. It’s Christmas! Christmas is a well known holiday which brings joy, hope, and of course, presents! Decorating brings happiness and Christmas spirit. Bring the Christmas spirit to your house with some of these fun, quick, and easy DIYs!
DIY #1: Snow Globes
Snow globes are amazingly dazzling! All the materials for this fun craft can be found in your local stores. To make one, you first need to get a clear jar. Take off the lid and add a few drops of glycerin and cold water to the jar. Then add fake snowflakes or things like white or blue glitter. Mix it up and now it’s time for some decoration. On the inside of the jars lid, glue on a mini plastic tree or something else that you think of… maybe a little snowman. Screw on the lid and flip over the jar. Now you have a snow globe!
DIY #2: Christmas Wreath
Christmas wreaths are decorations that everyone should have during the festive season. For this craft, you can use a willow wreath (or any other wreath) and hot glue, some pine cones around it, and leave room to hot glue a mini Christmas tree. To add more Christmas spirit, use chalk paint to make the pine cones look as if they are covered in snow, then decorate with any additional Christmas picks if you would like.
DIY #3: Christmas Chalkboard
Chalkboards help you stay organized- but you can also make them festive! You will need a Christmas-shaped board to start off. You can get an ornament-shaped piece of fiberboard from the Dollar Tree. Get black acrylic and paint the back side of the board, then scribble chalk all over the dried paint and then erase (doing so creates a kind of "primer" on the board). After doing this, you can add more decorations if wanted .
DIY #4: Large Bell Wreath
Jingle, Jingle! This large bell wreath will remind you that Santa is on his way! You first need to get a large bell about 4-6 inches in length. Spray white paint on the large bell, unless it is already white. Then attach the large White bell to the top of the wreath with twine so it's hanging from the middle of the wreath. Then decorate the top of the wreath with picks from Dollar Tree.
These are just some of the ways to get into the Christmas spirit. These are all affordable DIYs with tools that can cost less than 10 dollars. With Christmas around the corner, amaze your friends, family, and others with these fun ideas.
