Student Reminders:

• Conventions are an exciting way for our studio to grow in knowledge and capability!

• Use this day as a way to push yourself beyond your normal limits and break out of your box!

• Do not be scared of the front row.

• Give your best in every single style.

• Ask questions anytime you are unsure of something.

• And possibly the most fun part of it all is making new friends!!

  • You will likely see these dancers again at a competition we attend in the future. It is so fun to connect and have dance friends from all over! 

Student Expectations:

• Students are to be appropriately dressed. No street clothes or inappropriate clothing.

  • Numbers will be given to each dancer to wear throughout the day.

  • Proper shoes for each class being taken. 

• No cell phones during their class time.

  • Students should be attentive & aware during their full class time. 

• Dancers should place their bags under the chairs or in a corner away from the dance space.

• Each student should bring a water bottle and healthy snacks to access with ease during small breaks given by the instructor. 

• Lunch break is one hour long. If your dancer is not bringing a prepared lunch, please ensure that their food will be with them at the beginning of their lunch break.

  • Returning to class late from a break is unacceptable. 

  • No food is allowed in the ballrooms.

• All students are expected to maintain a positive, respectful, and humble attitude during their classes.
