Check-in: How is your Presence Practice going?
Please do it daily for 21 days to build the muscle and the HABIT of being Present.
If we all do THIS practice together, we can build a powerful collective FIELD OF PRESENCE.
Here is the short version when needed just before a challenging meeting.
2. Deepening into Presence:
- STRESS and PRESENCE (or the lack of!)
How Pressure and Performance are linked.
Eustress (good stress) improves performance. Too much stress (distress) reduces performance.
(Dis)Stress is when the external pressure exceeds our internal coping resources/strategies.
The antidote? Cultivating Presence. Practicing and applying any or all of the elements (relaxed body, even breath, clear mind, open heart, sensitive sonar, energetic induction.
Mahamantra: I have nothing to defend, promote or fear. I AM HERE NOW. All I need is within me, comes to me, flows through me. I am enough, have enough, there is enough.. )
- BARRIERS TO PRESENCE
a. Stressful emotions & thoughts (uncomfortable feelings)
Our practice this week is to PRESENCE our Innerscape, as well as our Outerscape.
Master both worlds. To have freedom to live.
Not Enlightenment so much as Embodiment. Developing BQ (Body Intelligence). Using the healing power of the body to transform distress to eustress.
Feel it to heal it.
Feel your feelings. Don't 'check-out' of your body. Stay 'checked-in'.
Be Here Now. All healing happens in the Present moment.
Healing Practice: Feel it to heal it
- Relax and breathe.
- Remember the last stressful feeling you had
- As it arises, stay present to the fear and move through it anyway
- Now LET-GO ALL thoughts associated with the feeling. The 'story' about why it happened.
- Just stay with the SENSATIONS in the body. Observe where they are. Be simply curious. Lightly name them 'tightness in chest'/ 'constriction in gut', etc
- Now let the body do what it needs to do to release that sensation. Move if and as needed. The body is a self-healing system; 24/7 digesting and harmonising energy. Let it.
E-motion is energy in motion. Let it move and dial up or down as feels better.
You will feel a warmth to show it worked. Your body has just transformed a bad feeling into energy/shakti which you can now USE for good stuff!
Like a dog, just give yourself a little shake and say 'energised'!
b. Our inability to Love-Accept-Forgive (LAF) & Let Go.
Healing Practice: Emotional Empowerment Technique
- Bring to awareness a stressful situation
- tap together the 'karate chop' points of both hands affirming 'Even though I have (this bad feeling/thought), I deeply and completely love and accept, heal and integrate this part of myself now.'
- Rub your hands and cross them over your heart
- breathe seven times, from the top of your head to the base of your spine (through your chakras: Crown, Brow, Throat, Heart, Solar Plexus, Sacral/Womb, Root/Sphincter), relaxing the body parts deeply.
- PRESENCE & THE HIGHER-SELF/SHAKTI
We don't need to handle stress on our own. Presence connects us with our Higher-Self, our Shakti. Call on it. Remember and Offer.
You are NEVER alone. Everywhere you go, always take The Mother with you. :-)

- Is to do the Presence Practice daily
- and to practice being in constant and conscious contact with your 'Higher Self' and Shakti and to remember and offer each moment to THAT You.
