Should Kids Solve the World's Problems?
Should kids solve the world's problems? What problems or issues are important to us? What action would you take the help solve them?
Today we watched the video "Should Kids Solve the World's Problems?" The video interviews kids just like us and presents research about the creative and collaborative power of children's brains. After watching this video, we brainstormed some of the issues important to us.

Week of 5/10
Artists Use Symbols
We considered the use of symbols in our everyday lives and the artwork we have been exploring during the Exhibition. We discussed that symbols can be a powerful tool for sharing ideas, that symbols can still be useful even if they're not realistic, and the importance of symbols in our artwork. At the end we played Symbolism Pictionary!
Choosing a Message and Planning Our Action
Today, we collaborated in our Exhibition groups to decide on a medium and message for Artists in Action Day. We began to sketch out our plans on paper.
