What are the times of the school day for Year 7 students?

All students should be in school no later than 8:15am. A movement bell will sound at 8:20am.

Period 1 8:25am to 9:25am

Period 2 9:25am to 10:25am

Break / VMG 10:25am to 11:00am

Period 3 11:00am to 12pm

Period 4 12:00pm to 12:30pm

Lunch 12:30pm to 1:00pm

Period 4 1:00pm to 1:30pm

Period 5 1:30pm to 2:30pm

Enrichment 2:30pm to 3:30pm

Year 7 students have their lunch as a year group, between 12:30pm and 1:00pm. This ensures there is minimal queuing time and that they can eat together in their first year at The Academy. The catering provided by The Academy operates a 'Pay Online' System. Parents must load student accounts from home. The Academy is cashless! Students are also welcome to bring a packed lunch and a healthy drink.
