Mrs Hailey Swann, Teaching Assistant

My role here is a teaching assistant. You will see me working with students in your lesson helping them with their class work. I love to help anyone I can, so if you're in need and I’m around, ask me!

Coming to work is great when every day is so different! I make sure I make as many people smile - by either helping them when they need it or just asking “how is your day?” it makes school a much brighter place when everyone is smiling. Watching students grow from being smaller than, to taller than me in 5 years is also very fun!

I enjoy playing rugby for Barnsley Ladies, going on adventures with my husband and son, also spending time with friends.

Outwood Academy Shafton is a big school, but luckily that’s more room to fill with amazing staff who will guide you through your time here and students who will show you what amazing things you can achieve in your time here!
