Miss Kate Wragg, Associate Assistant Principal

My name is Miss Wragg and I am Associate Assistant Principal in Deep Support. It is my job to look after the Transition for year 6 students that will be joining us here in Outwood Academy Shafton.

This includes organising events for Year 6 students, creating and looking after the Transition Website and keeping in touch with your primary school teachers throughout the year.

I am also an SLT link teacher that looks after Year 7 in school and makes sure that they are settling into the academy well.

As well as working a lot with year 6 and 7 students I am also a very proud Head of a vibrant and successful Arts Faculty. It is my job as a music teacher to make sure that everyone in school enjoys their music lessons and has as many opportunities as possible to play a musical instrument and be part of the many activities that we have here at Outwood Academy Shafton.
