Rotherham College NCW events

During National Careers Week, Barnsley College will be hosting a series of live streams for students to learn all about options after school and to ask any questions you have.

Monday 1st March

4pm – 5pm: Barnsley Sixth Form College Live Stream

Join our Sixth Form tutors to learn more about studying A-Levels at Barnsley Sixth Form College and to ask any questions. We’ll be focussing on our English and Creative A-Level subjects in this session. Our advisors will also be available if you have any questions about applying or if you need advice about your choices.

Tuesday 2nd March

12.30pm – 1.30pm: Barnsley College Lunchtime Q+A

Join our advisors for a lunchtime Question and Answer session and learn more about Vocational, A-Level, Apprenticeships and T-Levels at Barnsley College.

4pm – 5pm: Barnsley College Vocational Live Stream

If you’re considering a Vocational pathway, come along to our live stream to discover more about this hands-on approach to learning. We’ll explore the different subject areas you can study and whether a Vocational course might be the right option for you. Our advisors will also be on hand to answer any of your questions and provide advice about your options.

4pm – 5pm: Barnsley Sixth Form College Live Stream

Join our Sixth Form tutors to learn more about studying A-Levels at Barnsley Sixth Form College and to ask any questions. We’ll be focussing on the Social Sciences and other professions in this session, including Psychology, Business, Law and History. Our advisors will also be available if you have any questions about applying or if you need advice about your choices.

Wednesday 3rd March

12.30pm – 1.30pm: Barnsley College Lunchtime Q+A

Thursday 4th March

4pm – 5pm: Barnsley Sixth Form College Live Stream

Join our Sixth Form tutors to learn more about studying A-Levels at Barnsley Sixth Form College and to ask any questions. We’ll be focussing on the STEM subjects in this session, including Sciences, Maths and Computing. Our advisors will also be available if you have any questions about applying or if you need advice about your choices.

Discover Creative Careers

During National Careers Week, you will be able to use a suite of videos and activities via the DiscoverCreative.Careers website, which will introduce students (key stages 3, 4 and 5) to careers in the creative industries.

There will also be a programme of live Q&A panel discussions during the week, plus an exciting programme of live workshops, a workplace tour film and a Q&A panel featuring professionals from across the sector.
