ABOUT
When our Bryn Mawr campus opened in the 1978-79 school year, many of the items from the beautiful Overbrook Chapel were lovingly installed in what is now known as The May MacNeal Cardone Chapel, dedicated by Sheila Cardone Labrecque ’58. The items from the Chapel at Overbrook - built in 1929 - include such exquisite and cherished pieces as oak pews, limestone statues, stained glass windows, and paintings by renowned American muralist Hildreth Meière.
As we celebrate the 45th anniversary of the Overbrook Chapel items’ arrival in Bryn Mawr, we are offering unique dedication opportunities. We invite you to be a part of this celebration by dedicating an item from the Chapel at Overbrook. Each dedication will be recognized with a customized engraved tribute plaque located near the dedicated item.
