I am so happy to be your child’s teacher!

Although it will be a different start than we expected, this year is going to be full of fun, learning, and making memories. I am looking forward to working with you and your child and seeing them grow.

This year will be my 15^th year teaching. I have taught grades TK through 3, but my favorite grade to teach is kindergarten, because I love to witness young children learn to be readers and writers! Although this is only my 6th year teaching in San Gabriel, I have also been fortunate to have taught with LAUSD and Aspire Public Schools.

I am a USC graduate (fight on!) and also recently completed a Master’s program in Literacy and Reading. I love to learn about early literacy and have been working on learning new ways to use Google Education tools in the classroom.

When I’m not teaching, my husband and I are busy with our 3 children and our dog, Charlie. While I normally love to browse Target and try new coffee shops, this summer was spent working on house projects and learning to garden.
