REHEARSAL DATES: Rehearsals and performances will run between December 9, 2024 - March 26, 2025. A tentative schedule is posted on the Drama Club Google Classroom page and the Stage 42 website. It is important you provide all known conflicts on the Audition Card.
PRODUCTION DATES: Performances are scheduled for March 27, 2025 (7:00 PM), March 28 (7:00 PM), and March 29 (Times TBA) with a mandatory production clean-up (“strike”) on March 30, 2025 (tentatively 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
ACADEMIC ELIGIBILITY In order to participate in this year’s production, students must adhere to the extracurricular/athletic academic policy. If you are not passing two or more classes at any time during the production, you will be deemed ineligible to participate.
REHEARSAL ATTENDANCE POLICY
We understand that you are volunteering your time and talent to this production. With that said, we hope you understand that participating in a South High Drama Club production is a serious commitment and rehearsal attendance is very important. The directing team can have some flexibility around known conflicts, therefore it is very important you include those dates on your Audition Card. Be as detailed as possible! A finalized schedule will be made available before December break. If you miss more than three rehearsals, you will have a formal meeting with the directing team to assess if the absences necessitate a reassignment of roles/stage responsibilities. Remember, Drama Club is a team and requires full participation from its members to be successful!
TECH WEEK ATTENDANCE POLICY
Mandatory Technical Rehearsals will span for two weeks and will run from March 15 until March 26, 2025. No actor may miss these rehearsals under any circumstances.
FUNDRAISING RESPONSIBILITIES
Our club operates on a tight budget yet still aims to deliver professional quality technical aspects. With that said, our production heavily relies on scheduled fundraisers throughout the season. Each student involved is expected to fully participate in the fundraisers. “Buy-Out” options will exist for fundraisers. Our goal is to collectively raise $8,000 before March 25, 2025.
