The Big Sisters Program pairs high school students with elementary students to provide mentorship, encouragement, and positive role models throughout the school year. Through monthly meetings filled with fun, engaging activities, participants build meaningful relationships that promote confidence, leadership, and personal growth for both the younger and older students.

The Class of 2028 Class Congress meets regularly to build the homecoming booth, fundraise for prom, and create meaningful experiences with peers. Class Congress allows students to take on leadership roles, develop friendships with classmates, and explore creative abilities. 

The Class of 2030 Class Congress meets to plan for participation in school functions, build school spirit & experiences, fundraise for prom, and create meaningful memories with peers. Class Congress allows students to take on leadership roles, develop friendships with classmates, and explore creative abilities. 

Coalition Z is a student-led organization dedicated to increasing political awareness, civic engagement, and informed participation among young people. Members explore current events, discuss public policy issues, and learn about the political process while encouraging active citizenship. Through initiatives such as voter registration drives, community outreach, and educational events, Coalition Z helps students understand the importance of their voices in shaping their communities and democracy.

The Ecology Club is dedicated to protecting and improving our school’s Nature Center and water quality through regular cleanup and stewardship activities. Members help monitor the health of the creek by surveying aquatic macroinvertebrates biannually (whose presence and diversity serve as important indicators of water quality and ecosystem health). Through hands-on efforts, students develop a deeper understanding of local ecosystems while making a positive impact on their community.

Girl Up Gate is a student-led club inspired by the global initiative of Girl Up that empowers girls to become leaders, advocates, and changemakers in their communities. Through service projects, education, fundraising, and advocacy, members work to advance gender equality, support girls' rights worldwide, and develop leadership skills that create positive local and global impact.

Journalism Club is the making and writing of the school newspaper "Titan Times." We report on events around the campus, what students' are doing and achieving and what matters to AHS. 

The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) recognizes and celebrates students who demonstrate outstanding artistic ability, academic achievement, leadership, and service while promoting art appreciation and creative involvement within the school and community.

Student Council is a group of leaders who work to plan homecoming activities, the homecoming dance, pep rallies and other activities throughout the school year.
