We are thrilled to bring a summer camp experience to the SFVJACC community! Many of you may know us from previous summer camps, and we are excited to finally create a program designed specifically for this community. 

Our team brings years of experience in education and summer camps, united by a shared passion for fostering meaningful experiences for every camper. Through engaging activities, cultural workshops, and a strong sense of community, we are committed to making this summer one filled with growth, fun, and new connections.

As Camp Atsumare grows, we hope it becomes more than just a camp—a place where friendships are formed, leadership skills are developed, and a lasting community is built, ensuring that each generation continues to stay connected and engaged.

At Camp Atsumare, our name reflects our mission—to bring people together. In Japanese, Atsumare (集まれ) means "gather" or "come together," a representation of our camp’s spirit. We created this space as a welcoming community where youth can connect, explore Japanese American culture, and build lifelong friendships.

Through shared experiences like cultural workshops, campers build friendships and leadership skills that help sustain and strengthen our SFVJACC family.
