Session 9: SFUSD Assessments and Illuminate for Grades 6-8

  • Description: Teachers will gain knowledge of SFUSD’s Learning-Based Assessment System, with a focus on District Assessments in Math and ELA in grades 6-8 and an overview of Illuminate. Throughout the session, participants will explore the AAO website to access information, guidance, and support tools.

Session 10: Elementary Science Education in SFUSD, Grades TK-5

  • Description: In this session elementary science teachers will learn about the core curriculum, the implementation of the NGSS and resources available to them. Included in this presentation will be information on how to get involved in curriculum work, what resources are available for curriculum planning, what our science education partners can provide and how to take students on field trips safely.
