Session 6: Tier 1 and 2 Behavior Strategies for students, grades 6-12

  • Presenters: Elizabeth McNab and Ali Berlinski

  • Description: Come and learn a bit about behavioral sciences, the structure of positive behavior supports, and some systems and supports available. You'll learn strategies for positively fostering positive student behavior as well as calm responses for responding to challenging behavior. We'll break out of the traditional punitive, authoritarian model to a research based approach that can lead to less disproportionate discipline and better equitable outcomes for all learners.
