  • Youth Outreach Workers are looking for new recruits to create presentations on various health topics-stress, safe sex, suicide, drugs, ally-ship, really anything students interested in. $500 stipend! See Valentina in the Wellness Center.

  • B.L.I.N.G. (Building Leaders in Innovative New Giving) is YLI's youth-led social justice philanthropy program in San Francisco. Twice a year, B.L.I.N.G. grantmakers open applications for SF youth who are addressing inequities across the city. (Link)

  • Mission Bit offers coding courses that expose high school students from underserved and underrepresented communities to multiple coding languages.
  • 9/16: Free Advancing Equity in Arts Education at SOMArts a day-long summit focused on advancing equity in arts education featuring interactive panel discussions and live performances.
  • 9/23: Epic Queen STEM Education for Hispanic Girls, 532 Folsom Street, SF. Free Classes!
  • 9/24: Free Latino Engineering Day/Dia de La Ingenieria at the SF Exploratorium.
  • San Francisco Youth Works is a paid unique high school internship program that exposes youth to public service careers while building job readiness skills in a supportive environment.
  • Sisterhood Gardens on Brotherhood Way is a Community Garden in the Oceanview-Merced Heights-Ingleside (OMI) neighborhood of San Francisco that provides workshops, resources, and tours.
