Philosophy

Homework is implemented as a practice and review of the day's class focus/objectives in math and reading. Sometimes homework will be more depending on class projects or any unfinished class work that needs finishing. I believe this practice of homework daily teaches students rigor, responsibility, and accountability.

In 5th grade, homework is assigned Monday through Thursday. Reading logs are collected every Friday.

Daily homework entails:

1) Math homework workbook (SFUSD)

2) At least twenty minutes of reading (Please log & summarize).
