The Local Education Agency Medi-Cal Billing Option (LEA) is a fee-for-service program, which includes direct assessment and services to Medi-Cal eligible children.
Medi-Cal Administrative Activities (MAA) claims are reimbursement for indirect administrative activities, for these reimbursements participants are required to complete quarterly Time Surveys (TS).
The Mandate Reimbursement Incentive Program ensures that programs required by the state are paid for with state funds. The state is required to reimburse school districts and other local government agencies for the costs of carrying out activities or functions required by the state legislature or by a state agency.
