Hi, my name is Anna Karney and I am the director of the choral music program at George Washington High School.
Winter Concert - Dec. 7th - 7pm
Spring Concert - May 24th - 7pm
Performance location - GWHS auditorium
Courses offered are Beginning, Intermediate and Advanced Vocal. Each class covers a wide variety of exciting opportunities in performances and festivals. The students experience the joy of singing while building a strong voice, and learning the language of music notation.
Students joining the Intermediate and Advanced Choirs will enjoy participating in holiday caroling, invitational events, city and state competitions, and many charitable events. Singers perform in the large GWHS Mixed Choir and also perform in smaller Chamber groups. As a student becomes more advanced they may also perform as a soloist for some of these events.
